You see that little black spot on the ceiling, to the left. That’s how dirty this place was before they did a complete renovation in the 70s or 80s. This place fell into disrepair once cars really came about in the 50s. The architects wanted to leave one spot as it was to remind them of the accomplishments. I think that’s really cool.
